It’s been a while since I qualified for one of these bad boys. If you didn’t know, Influenster is a platform where you can test products for free and review them on their site. Of course, you can still review even if you’re not participating in a campaign, but most people sign up just to get free things. I’m totally fine with people who do that, however I dislike how some people just think they’re handed free things the moment you sign up. You actually have to work for these. I was lucky enough to get the Homecoming Voxbox targeted towards college students.

As a busy college student, snacks are a staple. The moment I saw the Red Vines and Kettle Brand Potato Chips, I wanted to eat them. I did restrain myself though as I realized that I can bring them to school on Monday. I can devour them during the four hour wait between my classes. I already love Red Vines and I’m sure that most people have had at least a similar candy. It’s just red liquorice. Really good red liquorice. I’ve tried the Kettle Brand Potato Chips in Sea Salt. It’s one of my favorite flavors. It’s nice and salty and has a really nice kick to it.
I haven’t been through the cough medicine aisle yet, so I don’t think I’ve seen this brand of cough drops. I have the Strawberry Banana flavor which I’m hoping isn’t going to taste like medicinal Strawberry Banana. With fall and winter coming up, I already know that I’m going to be coughing up a storm. Hopefully these will help once the cold settles in.
The Olay Active Botanicals Refreshing Gel Cleanser came right on time. Although there’s no shortage of St. Ive’s products in the bathroom, I need something new to make me keep up with my routine. The SinfulColors SinfulShine Nail Polish are a two step manicure system. Just add two coats of the Step 1 color of your choice and seal it with the Step 2 top coat. I have Step 1 in Picante which seems to be a metallic red orange in the bottle. I’ve been meaning to get gel nails and now it seems it’ll be much easier to do.
All in all, these are things that would make college life easier. I’d prefer to have a pen or two in the box, but I do like everything I got. Want to see what I’d put in a College Life #DreamVoxBox?
