Hey everyone!
I’m sure I’m not the only college student frantically studying to get a good score on my finals. Sometimes I’m so into studying that I forget to eat or when I try to look for food, I only grab a small snack. It’s not healthy to just eat snacks all the time, and with finals just around the corner, it’s ideal to make food before hand in case you forget to eat the morning of finals. Although I don’t like eating in the morning because my stomach can’t handle it, I do like to have a bit of food before finals and right after finals to make sure that the rest of the day goes smoothly.
My definition of brain food is entirely different from other people’s. As long as I’m eating, I’m considering it brain food.
Potato Chips // A recipe that my brother found from his friends or one of the websites he frequents. I’m not sure where he got the original recipe, but the one linked is exactly what I do when I’m craving potatoes. You can make a lot of these in one sitting then eat them while studying.
Inside Out Pizza // This is a very quick and easy recipe. You can make this during a thirty minute break since it takes about fifteen minutes to make.
Toad In a Hole // The name makes me giggle. Although this takes thirty minutes to make, it makes six servings. Perfect for the whole day if you’re too nervous to eat because of finals.
Good Morning Wrap // If it’s easier to eat sweet foods in the morning, then this wrap filled with fruits is perfect.
Toasted Garlic Bread // There are various recipes on how to make this, but I think this one is the quickest I can find. I have a fondness for garlic bread and eating it between finals sounds like a fabulous time.
Vicki’s Hush Puppies // These are simple and you can double up if you want a lot of them. You can put them into a small plastic container to eat for later or during a study break.
Restaurant Style Potato Skins // Although this recipes take a while to prepare, you can have a lot food for when you’re done with studying.
Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers // Have you ever craved pizza, but not at the same time? These appetizers are prefect for when you’re craving pizza, but not in pizza form.
Easy Sausage Cheese Balls // This recipes makes about thirty or so servings. Another amazing recipe for when you’re not really hungry, but need something to munch on before finals.
Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo With Broccoli // For a more filling meal, I like to eat pasta. Once finals are over, you can eat out at your favorite restaurant or make this then knock out.
