AN UPDATED MIRRORVANA REVIEW

Hey everyone!*

I wrote a similar review of this product on the Mirrorvana website if you want to check out that review. I also made a vlog where I unboxed the package and tried to open the mirror. Both of the reviews are pretty similar, however I do a check up on usage in this post as it has been several weeks since I’ve had this product.

I’ll have a run down of what that review was about with a pros and cons list.

Pros

  • Lighting can be dimmed or brightened
  • Has jewelry hooks
  • Comfortable height look at yourself
  • Spins from regular viewing to 5x

Cons

  • Hard to open the battery compartment
  • Must come very close to the 5x side which may be something that only applies to me
It’s been a good month or two that I’ve been using this product. I use it almost every day when I go through my skincare and makeup routine. The size hasn’t hindered me from carrying it out, but it does tend to take up some space on my desk. The light button is easy to use and dimming it when the lights are low helps emulate the type of lighting that I’ll expect when I go out.

I’m not too fond of the jewelry hooks. I don’t use them which means that they can be a hindrance when I’m trying to hold onto the stand when I move the mirror. I might put some jewelry on them in the future, but I like having all my accessories in one place.
This product works well for the price. I would recommend this product for beginners or for people with a smaller vanity. It might not do the job for people with advance eye makeup skills since the 5x mirror works well when you’re extremely close to it.

If you do makeup, do you prefer a mirror like the one in this review or a different type of mirror?
