Hey guys!
If you haven’t been keeping up with this little old blog of mine, then you wouldn’t know that I had participated in NaNoWriMo last month. That’s one reason why I haven’t been updating as much as I like. I did end up winning this year, and a more extensive post can be found here on my book blog.
Speaking of my book blog, I’m thinking of doing more with it. I know, I know. I say that about every other month. This time, I have some ideas on ways to keep up with my blogs. I’m hopeful that I can find more time in second semester to use for blogging and writing.
Since I accomplished NaNoWriMo, I have the urge to keep going with my progress. The novel I started isn’t done yet. I have key scenes and a general sense of the plot, but I still have a lot of work cut out for me. I’m really excited to keep writing. Maybe I can finally finish a story?
I’ve gotten very motivated to do well in school and have been reading College Info Geek and watching his YouTube videos. This isn’t a sponsored post. I just love his work. Frank’s work is very consistent and well researched which I love. His information about school and tips on motivation and other such topics are original and a huge improvement from what’s been circulating around the Internet. I know, I’m guilty of writing about a few tips that have been over done, but what’s special about Frank is that he accumulates information and uses citation from books to prove his point. I really love how he presents his information as it’s a lot easier for me to want to implement his ideas since he has such a strong conviction in helping people do well in school. I definitely recommend him for anyone who likes well thought out and new ideas. Check out one of his video’s down below!
Besides writing, blogging, and learning, I have decided to try to learn an instrument. An ocarina seems just the perfect instrument for me. It’s small and easy to bring around in a purse. I do have a guitar which is gathering dust because I can’t find anyone whose teaching style actually makes me want to learn.
There’s a lot of ideas and plans that are bouncing around in my head, but the above goals are the ones that I’m currently working on.
That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
