Hey guys!
Today’s letter is L! Of course, I thought of love. Love in all of it’s complexities.
But I don’t think me waxing poetics about love sounds appealing. Here we are anyway. Because love is different for everyone and love shouldn’t be contained in only the girlfriend&boyfriend of wife&husband relationship. Love can be found everywhere. From friends to family to pets, love is an amazing feeling. Not everyone experiences it though, or understand what it is.
It’s not just about the physical aspect of a relationship. It’s about feeling secure with someone. It’s about trusting people and knowing that they have your back through the good times and the bad times. Let’s be honest here, I could go on and on about how love should be. And sometimes those ‘should be’s’, aren’t really ‘should be’s’.
But here’s what love ISN’T about:
- Money (If you wouldn’t like your crush if he/she didn’t have money, why like them for money?)
- Sex (Although that would be nice to have in a relationship)
- Physical Appearance (Throw away that mental list, and love them for who they are and not what they look like)
- Hurting each other (Intentionally or not, it’s not about how much you can hurt someone. Unless that’s your kink. But even those who practice BDSM honor their partner’s thresholds.)
I’m sure there’s a lot more qualities that aren’t love. Search it up and there’s ” About 704,000,000 results
