Hey guys!
After a small vacation because of finals and family problems, I’m back with (semi-)regular Tippin’ Tuesday posts! This week is about moving forward with a few words of advice to help you.
BE THANKFUL FOR THE PAST
Learn to be thankful for the events that have led you to where you are now. Each experience has taught you something new, whether it’s that you really don’t like heights or dating someone with family problems is definitely not something you’d do again. Be thankful because you’ve learned something new about yourself or life in general. Being thankful will help you move on by making you realize that life won’t wait for you to grow up, instead it’ll throw you into a lesson and help you become a better person.
BALANCE WORK AND PLAY
Don’t spend life working and making money, but also don’t play too much. Spend your life having fun, but also work hard to make sure you have the time to have fun. I’m graduating Saturday and soon I’m going to have to learn how to balance multiple commitments. It’s important to realize when to work hard and when to take a break. Life isn’t just about work or messing around; it’s about doing what you can do to give back to the community and making this world a better place.
PERSEVERE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSARY
When life is trying to bring you down, persevere. Keep plowing your way because it’ll be worth it in the end. All the big wigs in the beauty industry, fashion world, etc. got to where they are with hard work and determination. When they felt like giving up, they worked harder. They didn’t give up on what they wanted from life. One day you’ll reach your dreams, but you have to work at it through the rough patches.
That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
