Fashion//What’s My Style? PART 1: THE TOPS

Hey guys!

I spent some time figuring out what kind of style I like to wear the most. For me, I like to be able to put something on five minutes before I have to go and be done with it. Of course, I want to be able to have time to put on my makeup every now and then, but usually I don’t wear makeup on a day to day basis. I do try to put on some mascara or eye shadow if I feel like my eyes need a pick me up. This means that I stick to T shirts and jeans. Sometimes shorts or skirts if I have time.

In general, I’ve whittle down my wardrobe to these types of clothing:

TOPS
T Shirts
Tank Tops
Crop Tops
Long Sleeves
BOTTOMS
Jeans
Skirts
Shorts
ADD-ONS
Knee High Socks
Tights
Leggings

For this post, I’ll be focusing on the TOPS section of my wardrobe.

I noticed these past few weeks that I usually go for the same five or six shirts for my outfits. I think it’s because they’re easy to pull on and don’t need a special bra underneath to wear them. Since it’s still considered winter in California, the tops I usually pick out are soft and warm. The rest of my tops are tank tops, crop tops, or muscle tees. They’re not really good for winter.

I like to layer my tank tops and shirts so I won’t be getting rid of any of them. I also know that I like to wear tank tops during summer with a light cardigan for summer breezes. As for the crop tops, I might get rid of one or two of them. I’m not totally in love with some of them as I like to be.

As for long sleeves, I only have about four of them in my wardrobe. They’re specifically for the winter season and won’t be leaving my closet anytime soon.

All in all, I think the TOPS section of my closet is pretty changeable. I’ll add a few more shirts that I can layer and swap out instead of wearing the same five shirts every week. I might go through the crop tops to donate or sell them if they’re too short or don’t fit my personal style. For the long sleeves, I won’t be looking for anymore of them. California is never really cold, if you catch my drift.

That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
