College Life//A Day In the Life of a College Student (AKA I Have No Life)

Hey guys!

I never realized this, but these last month really revealed to me how much time I have as a college student.

Since I have morning classes, I wake up early four days a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I exercise and shower in the morning because my Statistics class doesn’t start until 9:45 a.m. In that time, I’m able to check over my work for class and put on my makeup. While on Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m at school at seven o’clock so I’m able to get to class at eight. Since I have to be at school really early on those two days, I don’t apply my everyday makeup. I usually put on some lipstick or mascara, and I’m out the door.

My Statistics teacher likes to release us early, so that classes tends to end around 12:20 p.m. I wait outside on a bench near my school for my ride. In that time, I like to practice a few dance moves. Mostly the glide as I like to make cool exits out of places. (Not really, but I do want to be able to do that in a special occasion).

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I stay after class to hang out with a couple of my friends. Some days I like to get lab hours for my Public Speaking class if the lab is open for a few hours.

After class, I either take a nap or review my notes. It depends on how much sleep I got the night before and how much homework I have that day. Most days I work on homework for a little bit then take a nap. I recommend taking a fifteen to thirty minute nap if you’re looking for a quick energy boost. Going past thirty minutes can really burn people out. Believe me, I take five hours naps and after waking up, I don’t feel as refreshed as I would be if I took smaller naps. However, I do need those five hours as I’ve been having a small bout of insomnia these past few weeks.

I spend most of the night finishing up homework or trying to get ahead of it. Now, I’m trying to schedule my time more efficiently which I might discuss on another post. The little time I get in between the day I usully catch up on my social media accounts.

That’s where all my time goes as a college student! This is what I personally do about four times a week. It can get a little exhausting, but it’s worth it to be able to do what I love in the future.

That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
