Beauty//The Body Shop Skincare Consultation & Haul

Hey guys!

I went to the mall this weekend and somehow found myself in The Body Shop. The last time I went, I only bought some hand sanitizers. I wasn’t expecting to buy anything this visit. Then the sales assistant started to talk to me, and I ended up getting a skincare consultation from her.

I told her that I was mainly concerned with keeping my skin balanced and taking care of my pimples. She found that my skin type was normal to dry after she checked my skin’s hydration rate. I had 21.6% which was very low compared to the normal 50% rate that other people have. She started to create a skincare regimen for me based on what we had so far.

The first product that she used was the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser which was thicker than normal cleansers that I use. It had more of a gel consistency, and she wiped it off with a cotton wiped sprayed with water. She swiped on the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner after wiping off all of the cleanser. The Vitamin E Hydrating Toner also had the same consistency as the cleanser and felt amazing on my skin. She used the Drops of Youth Serum once the toner dried on my skin. The serum was very light, and it almost felt like water. Since I wanted something with SPF, she choose the Vitamin E Moisture Lotion with SPF 15. At the end, she dabbed a bit of Tea Tree Oil on my pimples.

The entire consultation took less than fifteen minutes. While she was rubbing the products onto my skin, she told me all about the different ways these items can help with whatever skincare problems I had. She was very sweet and she didn’t try to make me talk while she was putting together my skincare regimen.

Since the store was having a  “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” and a “Buy 3 Get 2 Free” deal, I ended up getting most of the items she suggested to me. I already have a serum and tea tree oil so I just bought the Vitamin E products she used on my face and the Cream Exfoliator.

I’m really excited to try out this regimen as I haven’t had a consistent skincare routine in a while. Hopefully, my skin gets better after using these products.
