Hey guys!
I know, I haven’t been updating as much, but I do have a good reason. Math. Oh yes, the dreaded M word that most college students hate. Unless it’s your major, you probably either don’t like math or really don’t like math. I really don’t like math, but I try to work hard in that class. After last week’s English test, somehow I ended up having two chapter tests today in math. Two chapters. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was, but I did end up not answering three problems in one chapter because of the time constraint and I had no idea what I was doing. By the end of the hour, I was exhausted to the bone. Here’s how I deal with that after exam exhaustion.
EAT SOMETHING REALLY YUMMY
It can be anything. Good or bad for you, it really doesn’t matter if you’re not health conscious. I ended up scarfing up a KFC Famous bowl after class ended. If you are health conscious, snack on some grapes and strawberries, for no other reason than that they taste so good. Fruits are definitely a must when you’re exhausted after an exam. They somehow taste all the more amazing after a test.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
Maybe you were so nervous that you didn’t drink anything before the test. Maybe you chugged down soda to give yourself energy. No matter the reason, water after an exam feels like you’ve given your body a boost that you should’ve gotten during the test. Water is good for your body and it’s important to make sure that you drink enough of it in a day. I totally recommend Plant Nanny as mentioned in one of my LIFE HAPPENS posts! Some of those plants are so cute! And they make some funny noises too.
SLEEP IT OFF
After eating, I really recommend just sleeping. If it’s for thirty minutes or so, that’s great! Naps should be thirty minutes to regain energy. If it’s any longer, then you’ll feel more tired. Believe me, I know. However, if you don’t have any classes after your test or any the next day, go ahead and sleep the day away. It’ll make you feel so much better.
BLAST YOUR MUSIC
If nothing so far has appealed to you, just blast your favorite music. It’ll put you in a better mood and help get the focus off of how you did after the test. Whatever kind of music you like, just remember to choose something upbeat or that can really get your energy levels high.
No matter how you deal with after exam exhaustion, it’s always a good idea to just unwind. Do what makes you happy. Remember that you did your best on your test and you’ll be improving as the school year slips by.
That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
