Tippin’ Tuesday//Smaller Closet

Hey guys!

Since I only have a small bit of space, I have to be conscious of what I buy for my wardrobe. It’s easy to buy a lot of random clothing and end up having a closet bursting with pretty pieces I’ll never wear. So here’s a few tips on keeping a small closet.

NOW YOU SEE ME….
An easy way to keep track of all your clothes, is to make sure you can see every single one. I fold my clothes so that I can see every item in my drawers. My closet is organized so that all the thicker clothes are near one end and it thins out once you get to the other end. That helps me know if I need to get a thicker jacket when winter comes along or if I need to repair or buy a new item.

LOVE IT OR HATE IT
Since I’ve become more conscious of my style, I am a lot more critical on what I wear. If I don’t really love something, it goes in the donate pile. Why keep something that you don’t really love?

HANG IT UP
If you don’t like something, but don’t want to give it up just yet, hang it up where you can see it. Once you have it up where you can see it, then you have the opportunity to wear it sometime in the week. If you don’t grab it at all during the week, then maybe it’s time to give it up.

MIX AND MATCH AND MIX AND MATCH
Having a small wardrobe can seem like you have nothing to wear. This is a great opportunity to learn how to mix accessories and match certain pieces. Search online for inspiration and have fun with it!

That’s it for what I do to maintain a small closet! What do you guys think? How do you maintain a small closet? Leave a comment down below!
