Hey guys!
I just got back from a community Christmas event with my brothers. I didn’t take pictures because it gets dark in my area really fast. I couldn’t really see anything, and I doubt that using flash in a huge crowd would go unnoticed. There wasn’t as many food trucks or vendor booths as I thought there was going to be. I was disappointed, but decided to try out the food from one of the food trucks.
Roll Revolution is a food truck that specializes in gourmet egg rolls. I got the Philly egg rolls while my younger brother got the Hawaiian egg rolls. The Philly rolls was amazing. They had given us two sauces: nacho cheese and hot sauce. The Philly roll tasted so good with the nacho cheese and had a nice kick when dipped into the hot sauce. The Hawaiian roll was more like a spam musubi in roll form. If you haven’t spam musubi, it’s basically spam, rice, and seaweed. The Philly roll was $7 while the Hawaiin roll was $6. It’s kind of pricey, but you do get three rolls for each order. All in all, I loved the taste of the rolls and would definitely buy more if I see the food truck again.

There was also a candle vendor, but I wasn’t too into the scents they were selling. I didn’t get a look at the other booths since it was so dark out. I did stay to hear the local elementary school choir sing for the masses. They sounded so adorable.
After the choir sang, I convinced my brothers to go to the nearby coffee shop to get some warm drinks. I had a peppermint cappuccino which was more bitter than I expected. I didn’t really taste the peppermint, but I blame it on the fact that I didn’t put any sweeteners in it. My younger brother bought a pumpkin spice latte, while the youngest decided to get the peppermint mocha. I had a sip of the pumpkin spice latte since I’ve never tasted it before. It was alright, but I don’t really see the appeal of it. The peppermint mocha had such a kick of peppermint that I regret not getting it myself.
Once we got our drinks, we went home. There wasn’t much to do at the event, but at least we got food and drinks out of it.
That’s it for today! Thanks for reading!
